VALKYRIE 9 : SIGRUN ( Challenge Difficulty )
After a number of tries I finally beat her. Now, I don’t have the fastest reflexes, but with enough practice she can be defeated. I was hoping i wouldn’t need the resurrection stone, but it came in useful for this battle right at the very end. Here’s some tips that helped me.
I did this fight at lvl 9 on Challenge. I would try and hit lvl 7 or higher for this battle.
Spartan Rage : if you go into this fight with a full Spartan Rage Meter, it will help a lot. If you can activate Rage before Sigrun’s Blinding light attack, the Rage will counter it. You’ll regenerate some health while dishing out some damage. She also gets stunned when you activate Rage while close to her. I kind of space out my Rage usage. I find it easier to do then trying to throw the Axe at her while she’s in the air. Most people aren’t going to have that fast of reflexes, and Sigrun has a big variety of different moves that happen extremely fast and deal a lot of damage.
Gauntlets of the Ages. These work great for a nice ranged attack that does pretty good damage.
I try to stick with high strength, Runic and Defense. There’s lots of different options and builds. And just practice with the timing for dodging, blocking and counter-attacking. Thanks for watching.
